-
If you choose to enter the pool with your dog, you do so at your own risk.

-
Dogs must not be pushed, shoved or thrown into the pool.

-
We have no control over the release of photographs being put on social media by your guests visiting the dog pool with you.

-
You are responsible for clearing up after your dog.

-
There are public areas around our premises, both grassed and concrete where your dog can toilet. Please pick up after your dog and dispose of waste in the appropriate bin in our entrance hallway. If you forget to bring dog waste bags there are some in a dispenser above the dog waste bin or just ask us for one

-
Please ensure your dog does not eat 2-3 hours before swimming, and we advise you don't feed them for 1-2 hours afterwards, to avoid the risk of bloat, sickness or fouling the pool.

-
All dogs MUST have their claws clipped short to prevent punctures to the pool liner. Entry may be refused if your dog has sharp claws.

-
Dogs with injuries, health problems or recovering from surgery may need to have consent to swim from your own vet, please contact us to discuss any issues.

-
If your dog has any skin conditions, eye or ear infections you should not swim your dog and cancel your appointment as necessary until the condition has cleared up, this must be done with 24 hours notice as per the booking policy please.

-
We are NOT hydrotherapists, we are a dog swimming facility with the sole aim of providing water safety, fun, exercise and bonding/socialisation. No medical advice will be given.

-
Your half hour session includes time taken entering and exiting the pool. You and your dog must exit the pool swiftly at the end of your session to allow for access to the pool for the next session. If you are late for your appointment you will lose part of your allotted time as we run a back to back appointment schedule. If we have no client in after your allotted time slot we may be able to carry over the lost time to make up for the late arrival, however, this is not guaranteed.

-
A 1 minute constant swim equates to a 1 mile run for your dog, therefore they will not and should not be encouraged to swim for more than a maximum of 10 minutes constantly.

-
You MUST inform us if your dog has a history of biting, is reactive, or unsociable. This does not preclude you from coming, it is simply to ensure the safety of staff and customers and the correct handling of your dog while you're with us.

-
Any dog booked into a non-solo session, such as a Pool Pawty, showing signs of aggression to others will be asked to leave.

By confirming your booking with Doggy Paddle you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
